In this privacy policy We are Alphahom Technology Limited, registered under business ID 2867963, with office located on Unit 3A-8, 12/F Kaiser Centre, No. 18 Centre Street, Sri Ying Pun, Hong Kong, in the following called Alphahom. You are an individual who installs and uses our Care Go application on your mobile device.

This privacy policy complies with the European General Data Protection Regulation of May 25, 2018. This privacy policy is applicable to the use of our website, the Care Go mobile app and customer support channels, such as email, telephone and chat.

What Is GDPR?

Data Controller

As the data controller we are responsible for all of the personal data you share with us. A responsibility we take very serious.

As data controller we are responsible to ensure the data you share with us, is only used with the purpose you have agreed to, that they are handled securely, that they are only shared with third parties, when this is necessary to deliver our products and services to you and that this exchange of data is done in accordance to all applicable regulations.

Data Processor

In many cases we also act as the data processor, however we also rely on external partners in order to provide you with our products and services.

We have entered Data Processing Agreements with all of our external partners to ensure that the processing and storage of your data is done securely and in accordance to all regulations.

In some cases your data is shared outside of the EU. As an example, this is the case when signing up for our newsletter on the website, as we use SendGrid to send our newsletters, which is located in the US.

Data Shared Outside of EU

Depending on which of our products and services you use and where you are based, your personal data might be transferred to or stored in countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).

We use state of the art Google Cloud™ servers to store and handle the data you share with us through the Care Go app. Google has data centers located around the globe and to ensure the fastest and most stable service, your app date will automatically be stored in the data center closest to your physical location.

Your Rights

The personal data you share with us, is yours and yours only. Therefore your are entitled to get insight into exactly what data we store. You are also entitled to change, limit or have the data completely deleted.

Security

All data transferred to and from our servers are encrypted using 256 bit Advanced Encryption Standard and your password is locally encrypted using irreversible 128 bit Message-Digest algorithm 5 (+Salt), to ensure the safety of your account and personal data.

The Google data centers we use, provides world leading physical and digital data security.
